We start with a foam cannon bath, hot water pressure wash, touchless dry, clay bar decontamination, paint correction that removes light scratches/swirls/spider webbing ect, then we apply the ceramic over the top. Same idea/tech as a “non-stick skillet”, think of ceramic as a semi-permanent wax, an extra layer of sacrificial clear coat on steroids. It starts out applied as a resin and fills in the microscopic “dips and valleys” in your clear coat and cures to a glass like crystal. Doing so makes the clear non porous, since it’s non porous, it’s far more difficult for stuff to adhere to the paint and also ultra-hydrophobic.
